The launch of CCC's digital portal in 2015, EXPLORE Chicago Collections, brought together images and finding aids that allows for centralized cross-collection searching. CCC began planning for a robust set of programs that supported its mission to promote the study of the Chicago region's history and culture. Engagement of faculty, instructors, and experts from multiple disciplines with the collections and expertise available at our member institutions, met to target the ways CCC could increase the impact of its collective resources. CCC was also active in its outreach efforts to K-12 teachers sharing the resources of the EXPLORE portal in addition to participation in Chicago History Day.
