Chicago Collections Receives Two-Year Grant of $29,000
November 17, 2016
Chicago Collections was honored to be among the 2016 funding recipients, including a two-year grant of $29,000, from the MacArthur Funds for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. The grant supported general operations and helped to ensure Chicago Collections' ability to continue achieving its mission to preserve and share the history and culture of the Chicago region-- freely, easily, and openly.
"All of us at Chicago Collections are incredibly grateful for this generous gift and recognition," said Executive Director Jaclyn Grahl. "We've reached many milestones this past year because of supporters like The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation who recognize the need for general operating support that is so essential for growing and expanding programs and services in order to increase our impact." This was the second grant awarded to Chicago Collections by The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. More information about the MacArthur-Drieshaus grants may be found here.
