The Sporting Life: Stories from Chicago Collections archives

Credits and Additional Resources

Thank you for viewing Chicago Collections' exhibit "Sports in Chicago." We hope you enjoyed seeing examples of sports content from our many and varied institutions. There is more to explore both at our member sites and through our collective data portal, EXPLORE Chicago Collections. EXPLORE hosts Chicago-related digital images and information about archival collections, but our individual members hold so much more than that, including sources like books, pamphlets, maps, newspapers, sound and video recordings. We highly recommend you click through to some of the institutions below to explore everything Chicago has to offer.

Participating Members

Because we are such a diverse consortium, not all of our members were able to contribute sports material to this exhibit. You can see all of our members on our website, but we wanted to credit those that were able to contribute this time around. Stay tuned for more exhibits and more participants in the future!
